Ing. Dr. Emmanuel Amankwah
Ing. Dr. Emmanuel Amankwah is a Senior Lecturer with over fifteen (15) years of teaching and research experience in both traditional and technical universities. He teaches Undergraduates, Masters and PhDs using the competency-based teaching approach. He has served as a facilitator and consultant on several programmes and projects both locally and abroad and has been an Internal and External Assessor of a wide range of theses at the Postgraduate level. Ing. Dr. Amankwah has worked with other colleagues in executing funded projects both nationally and internationally. Among the projects are TALIF, NUFFIC, CIDA, EC, BMBF, CIM-funded projects, etc.He is very industrious, amiable, a team player, and flexible and demonstrates good leadership, interpersonal and managerial skills. Ing. Dr. Amankwah always wants things accomplished and is passionate about the sustainability of the environment. His research interest is in the areas of soil and water conservation engineering, environmental and resources management, waste management, energy and climate change. He has several publications to his credit. He is currently working with other colleagues on the project “REFFECT AFRICA” – Renewable Energy for Africa: Effective Valorization of Agric-Food Wastes. His role is Scientific Expert in Soil and Water, Environmental and Energy management.
